Kings Biography:

Veteran Forward Rudy Gay was traded from the Toronto Raptors to the Kings on December 9, 2013 along with Quincy Acy and Aaron Gray in exchange for Greivis Vasquez, Chuck Hayes, John Salmons, and Patrick Patterson. On June 22, 2014, Gay exercised his $19.3 million contract option to remain with the Kings for the 2014-15 NBA season. Less than a month into that season, on November 19, 2014, Gay signed a 3-year, $40 million extension with the Kings. Gay left the Kings in free agency in the 2017 offseason.
