Seth Curry chose to sign with the Kings instead of the New Orleans Pelicans after playing with the Pelicans' Summer League team in 2015. He officially signed with the Kings on a 2-year deal on July 22, 2015. Curry declined his player option for the 2016-17 season and became a restricted free agent. On June 27, 2016, the Kings tendered a qualifying offer to Seth, however, on July 3rd, they rescinded it making Curry an unrestricted free agent. Curry then signed with the Dallas Mavericks.
