David Stockton was traded to the Reno Bighorns (The Sacramento Kings' G-League affiliate) on the day of the G-League draft in 2014. On February 20, 2015, Stockton signed a 10-day contract with the Kings. The Kings let Stockton's contract expire and did not re-sign him and he was re-acquired by the Reno Bighorns on March 2, 2015. On April 12, 2015 he signed on with the Kings through the 2015-16 NBA season. He played for the Kings' 2015 Summer League team and played 3 pre-season games before being waived on October 22, 2015. He was then once again re-acquired by the Reno Bighorns. On July 9, 2016, Stockton joined the Kings' Summer League team. Stockton returned to the Reno Bighorns on February 22, 2017.
