Roughly a week after reports suggested that the Kings had been shopping small forward Rudy Gay in hopes of trading him, rumors began to circulate again today with the Indiana Pacers emerging as suitors for the 10-year veteran.
With the Kings seeking back court help following the draft, Gay was seen as a prime candidate to be shipped off due to his extremely tradable contract. The players that the Kings are rumored to be looking at in exchange for Gay’s services are guards Monta Ellis and Rodney Stuckey. Both are longtime NBA veterans who would bring proven skill sets and versatility to a roster that is currently looking for much-needed assistance at both guard positions.
