Kings are in Detroit today to take on the red hot Detroit Pistons in their brand new arena. In their last outing, the Pistons went up against the Milwaukee Bucks. The Pistons shot 47.4% from the field and 30.8% from 3-point land in that game. Andre Drummond, with 24 points, 13 rebounds and also made 14 out of 16 free throws, led his team to victory. The Kings are coming off yet another loss, this time to the Boston Celtics. The Kings shot 43.2% from the field and 30% from 3. Sacramento was 6 for 20 from behind the arch. Although the Kings had a much better start than previous games, they still slowed up in the second half.
Keys to the Game:
•Make your 3's
It's no secret that the Kings have been terrible shooting the ball, but they've been absolutely horrendous from the three. It's time for guys like Buddy Hield and Bogdan Bogdanovic to have a break out game from 23.75 feet out.
•Defend the paint
The Pistons are a team that plays from the inside out (think Kings with DeMarcus Cousins under Coach Michael Malone), in fact, they're a terrible three point shooting team as well, shooting only 34.2% from outside. Stopping Andre Drummond is going to be the major key if you want to get your second win of the season.
