The Kings are in Boston today in their second game of a back to back to take on the #1 team in the East. If you're a Kings fan with a weak stomach, you might want to just keep your eyes closed the whole game and pretend like basketball does not exist. Or, you can just watch the World Series or something. But if you think you can handle it and digest it, watch at your own risk. The Celtics are coming off of a win against the San Antonio Spurs on Monday night. The Celtics, just like a lot of other teams in the NBA have a new look. The team is now being lead by former NBA champion and former Cleveland Cavaliers point guard, Kyrie Irving who was traded to Boston in exchange for former King Isaiah Thomas, as well as Jae Crowder, Ante Zizic, the Brooklyn Nets' 2018 first round pick and the Miami Heat's 2020 second round pick. The team also picked up NBA All-Star small forward, Gordon Hayward. Hayward, however, fractured his tibia and dislocated his ankle in the first half of the first quarter of his first regular season game with the Celtics. The Kings are coming off of another loss to the Indiana Pacers. Sacramento continues to have shooting woes as well as show their inability to score baskets. The Kings shot 42% from the field for the game, mostly in thanks to the second half. The team also shot 14.3% from 3-point land, making only 2 out of 14 threes. Slow starts continue to be a thing for the 1-6 team.
