The Washington Wizards travel to Sacramento for a matinee game against the Kings who play in the second of two games at home on the current home stand. The Wizards are coming off of a loss to the defending champions, the Golden State Warriors, a game in which the Wizards held a double digit lead. In the second quarter, Wizards guard Bradley Beal got into an altercation with Warriors forward Draymond Green. Both men were ejected from the game. The Kings are coming off of a loss in which they held a double digit lead as well against the New Orleans Pelicans. Former Kings' franchise player DeMarcus Cousins scored 41 points and grabbed 23 rebounds to help carry his new team to victory.
Keys to the Game:
•Keep Your Foot on the Pedal
The Kings have a habit of getting up by a lot and then blowing the lead somewhere in the second half. Keep your foot on the gas and don't let up.
•Limit the Wizards Backcourt
Washington DC's backcourt features one of the best backcourt duo's in the NBA. John Wall and Bradley are both deadly in their own ways, but both men are good at doing one thing: shooting you out of the game. The Kings are going to have to make sure they bring their A+ perimeter defense against these guys.
