The Kings travel to Denver today to take on the Nuggets. This is the second game of a three-game road trip for the Kings and is the second half of the team's first back-to-back. In the first game of the road trip, the Kings picked up their first win of the season over the Dallas Mavericks. The veteran players stepped up towards the end of the game and helped carry the young team to a win. Tonight's game is a very different battle than the one in Dallas, however. On the other side, the Denver Nuggets are coming off a loss against the Utah Jazz 106-96.
Defending the paint
The Kings will have to set their focus on stopping Denver's very talented front-court. Bigs Nikola Jokic and Paul Millsap are amongst the league's elite big men and they are backed up by solid rotational players Mason Plumlee and Kenneth Faried. Zach Randolph, Kosta Koufos and the rest of the Kings bigs are going to have their hands full tonight. Watching game film from the Nuggets/Jazz game on Wednesday might help the Kings, as the Jazz were able to hold Jokic to 0 points in the second half.
