The Sacrameno Kings added a familiar face to this year's Summer League roster, David Stockton. This doesn't come much as a surprise due to Isaiah Cousins being out with an injury is only the real Point Guard on the Summer League team. David Stockton went Undrafted in the 2014 NBA Draft and has spent most of his career with the Reno Bighorns (The Sacramento Kings D-League affiliate) with a brief stint with the Kings in 2015. On February 20th, 2015, Stockton signed a 10-day contract with the Kings and the next day made his debut. He recorded one point, two rebounds, and one assist in a loss to the Los Angeles Clippers. That same season he made the NBA D-League All-Rookie Second Team while averaging 17.9 PPG, 3.1 RPG, 7.2 APG, and 1.1 STL. While Stockton is known for his passing ability and the ability to shoot the three ball, he still has some skills to work on and room to improve. He will be given another opportunity to show that he has what it takes to make the Sacramento Kings team and maybe earn his way onto the roster for the 2016-2017 season which may be a long shot but you never know. Expect to see Stockton play significant minutes in tomorrow's game against the Houston Rockets.
