The Sacramento Kings have signed 7-year man Anthony Tolliver out of Creighton to a 2 year/$16M deal according to Sam Amick. Only $2M is guaranteed in the second season.
After not reaching a deal with Ryan Anderson, Anthony Tolliver seemed to be next in line on the Kings Priority list for that need.
Tolliver is a good defensive rebounder, can space the floor well, and can shoot the three ball as well. Last season, Anthony Tolliver averaged 5.3 PPG. 3.2 RPG, 0.7 APG, in 18.6 MPG. He will be another good veteran piece to help the locker room as well as being able to contribute on the floor.
With the Kings filling many of their needs and still needing a solid Point Guard to solidify that spot, there should be more moves to come. The Kings currently have some room to work within their cap space and have some space for next year as well if needed. This offseason has been relatively successful due to the players they're bringing in being signed to flexible contracts.
