Seth Curry

The Sacramento Kings per Adrian Wojnarowski of TheVertical.com has reported that the Sacramento Kings are expected to rescind the qualifying offer on Seth Curry, making him an unrestricted Free Agent.

This doesn't come much as a surprise due to the fact that the Kings just signed Arron Afflalo and Garrett Temple. While also having Ben McLemore still on the roster and drafting Malachi Richardson in the 2016 NBA Draft. This resulted in Seth Curry not having an interest in returning due to the amount Guards on the team. Also, this means that the Kings cannot match any offer that Seth get's on the market from any team.

In his 2015-2016 campaign Seth Curry made the most of his minutes despite the inconsistent amount of playing time in George Karl's offense. In 15.7 Minutes per game (which is also a career high, Curry averaged 6.8 PPG, 1.4 RPG, 1.5 APG, while shooting 45.5% from the field, and shooting 45.0% from beyond the arc which is rather impressive. To add to his solid season, Seth Curry saw the floor more in the month of April and had an impressive month.

With this move the Kings have more room in Cap Space to make other needed moves moving forward in Free Agency. Although this doesn't mean that Sacramento won't re-sign him it's just not likely with other moves made before this.
