Dion Waiters gaining traction with Sacramento

It is not a surprise that the Kings are gaining more and more interest in Dion Waiters. The Kings are gaining a significant amount of traction for Waiters per Chris Mannix of TheVertical.com.
Dion Waiters was one of the early free agents that the Kings have contacted right out of the gates at the start of free agency. The Kings have had a big need at the Shooting Guard for years now and have shown to be very interested in the 24 year old out of Syracuse. Dion Waiters regardless of what team he goes do will get near max money.
Not too long ago I wrote an article called "Sacramento Kings are gauging interest in Dion Waiters" and I talked about how the Kings were evaluating Dion Waiters and how they can be one of his top suitors. If the Kings decided to sign Waiters he will most likely be the starter day one unless the Kings decide to sign another Shooting Guard and decide to have Waiters come off the bench.
The Sacramento Kings have been rumored to have a scheduled meeting in place with Waiters in Sacramento sometime this weekend. It will be very interesting to see if the Kings make any progress on a deal with Dion or whatever the case may be in the coming days.
