Allen Crabbe

According to Ian Begley of ESPN.com the Sacramento Kings are showing some interest in restricted Free Agent Allen Crabbe.

With the NBA Free Agency period a few days away, rumors as expected are coming about more frequently. With the recent rumors, Courtney Lee, Dion Waiters, and Allen Crabbe are a few of the Shooting Guards the Kings are looking at as a possibility to fill that need. This is showing that Vlade Divac and the rest of the Kings Front Office are taking a good approach to Free Agency to ensure they fill that need that could be a top priority.

Allen Crabbe is coming off a very good season. The former Cal Berkeley standout had a breakout season while averaging 10.3 PPG, 2.7 RPG, and 1.2 APG while playing 26.0 minutes per game. He shot 45.9% from the field, a 39.3% from beyond the arc, and had a career high 86.7% from the Free Throw line. Crabbe was the 31st overall pick in the 2013 NBA Draft out of California, This season he had career highs in many of his stat categories.

The Sacramento Kings may need to over pay for a player like Crabbe because he's a restricted free agent and the Portland Trail Blazers have the right to match any offer that he gets from any team willing to sign him, so we shall wait and see if the Kings decide to pull the trigger on the young 24 year old as Free Agency is among us.
