With the NBA Draft approaching as expected there are many teams contacting the Kings about Ben McLemore’s services, according to Scott Howard-Cooper of NBA.com:

At last season’s NBA Trade Deadline it was a surprise that the Kings didn't successfully move him. He has expressed interest in being traded out of Sacramento after having a very inconsistent up and down year. His Career has been down and he hasn't really proved that he can be a vital player in this league to an NBA team but has shown flashes of his athleticism and ability to shoot the ball beyond the arc.

McLemore’s career so far in the NBA has been very disappointing for the young 23 year old out of Kansas. This past season was statistically the worst year of his career, due to not taking advantage of his minutes on the floor. His play on the court resulted in him getting his minutes cut from the rotation.

There have been many situations in which Ben looks clueless on the floor especially when making on-court decisions. He often doesn't even appear to be on the floor and fans tend to forget about his presence but will occasionally drop more than 10 points and you'll start to remember the player that was draft number 7 overall in the First Round in the 2013 Draft. He's still got a lot of potential but right now it's looking like the Kings want to try and move him before he starts to lose more value. Who knows, this could just be another rumor leading up to the Draft and the beginning of a very busy offseason for the Sacramento Kings organization.
